KUALA LUMPUR, 21 OGOS 2021 – Selepas lapan tahun mengenali hati budi, akhirnya hubungan Remy Ishak bersama Ezza Yusof kini bertukar status menjadi pasangan suami isteri.

Dengan hanya sekali lafaz, aktor yang terkenal dengan jolokan Hero Pujaaan Malaya berusia 39 itu kini sah bergelar suami kepada usahawan wanita berusia 38 itu dalam majlis ijabkabul di Masjid Negara, Kuala Lumpur sebentar tadi.

Pasangan itu dinikahkan sendiri oleh abang pengantin perempuan iaitu Rozman Yusof.

Majlis yang dijalankan mengikut prosedur operasi standard (SOP) ketat yang telah ditetapkan Jabatan Agama Islam Wilayah Persekutuan (Jawi) itu hanya dihadiri oleh kedua-dua mempelai bersama seorang wali kepada pengantin perempuan.

Ezza atau nama lengkapnya Roszaliza Yusof menerima sebentuk cincin daripada Remy sebagai mas kahwin.

“Alhamdulillah, syukur ke hadrat Ilahi atas kelancaran majlis pernikahan kami. Maka bermulalah perjalanan baru bagi kami sebagai pasangan suami isteri, mohon mendoakan kebaikan serta kesejahteraan buat kami berdua.

“Kami berharap agar pernikahan ini menjadi satu ikatan abadi yang diberkati oleh Allah SWT. Insya-Allah,” ujar kedua-dua pasangan suami isteri tersebut dalam satu kenyataan kepada media usai selamat diijabkabulkan.

Dalam majlis pernikahan itu, kedua-dua pasangan pengantin mengenakan busana hasil rekaan Mirul Jonit, serta ditatarias oleh jurusolek Chomel dan Adik Wan. Penata gaya pula oleh Tym Fatimah.

Berkongsi tentang titik tolak membulatkan keputusan untuk memperisterikan Ezza, Remy berkata, selain sedar wanita berkenaan sangat memahami dan mengubah dirinya menjadi seorang lelaki yang matang, usia yang semakin meningkat juga membuatkannya ingin segera mendirikan rumah tangga.

“Bagusnya tempoh Covid-19, saya semakin bersifat terbuka dan sebenarnya, kian sedar sudah lama hubungan saya dan dia (Ezza). Dari segi pemahaman dan peribadi semakin berubah. Karakter pun semakin matang.

Bercakap tentang zuriat,  Remy atau nama lengkapnya Mohammad Zalimei Ishak itu berkata untuk memiliki lebih daripada tiga orang anak dalam tempoh lima tahun pertama perkahwinan mungkin sesuatu yang tidak mungkin mampu dilakukan.

“Kami tidak mahu tergesa-gesa tentang soal zuriat. Dunia sekarang tengah tak stabil. Ekonomi juga tak stabil. Segalanya macam berada dalam ketikdakpastian.

“Dua tahun pertama perkahwinan, kita relaks. Kalau ada rezeki, ada lah. Tak perlu orang kata, terlalu fikirkan tentang anak dan sebagainya. Kalau Allah bagi (anak), Allhamdulillah,” ujar Remy.

Remy ketika mendedahkan bahawa dia bakal menamatkan zaman bujangnya pada Khamis lalu memberitahu, dia bersama isteri memang berniat untuk membuat majlis dalam suasana terbuka, namun keadaan semasa tidak mengizinkan.

“Insya-Allah, selepas semua dah okey nanti dan dibenarkan buat majlis, Insya-Allah kami akan buat,” katanya.

Terdahulu, Remy mendedahkan, kalau bukan sebab penularan pandemik Covid-19 dan pelaksanaan Perintah Kawalan Pergerakan (PKP) yang berpanjangan, dia sudah bergelar suami kepada Ezza Mei lalu.
