KUALA LUMPUR, 31 Oktober 2021 – Punyai jiwa yang kental, hati yang tabah dan semangat yang sangat berani, cita-cita jitu usahawan wanita muda berjaya yang berasal dari Marang, Terengganu, yang turut popular dengan julukan ‘Mummy Jerung’ ini untuk terjun ke bidang nyanyian akhirnya menjadi kenyataan.
“Ramai yang tak percaya pada mulanya, akhirnya berkat kesabaran dan kesungguhan dalam bidang perniagaan, dapat juga saya hadir dengan single sendiri,” kata penyanyi berusia 24 tahun ini.
Wan Siti Mariam Wan Mahyudin atau lebih glamour dengan panggilan Sofiaa Marieylla di laman sosialnya seperti TikTok, dengan jumlah pengikut seramai hampir sejuta dan mempunyai lebih daripada 17 juta sukaan, kini boleh berbangga apabila beliau disunting secara rasmi menjadi artis di bawah naungan Rocketfuel Indie Space Station (ISS) yang merupakan pembahagian (division) terbaharu Rocketfuel Entertainment Sdn. Bhd.
Single yang berjudul Akulah Jerung Merah hasil ciptaan komposer berpengalaman, Hadi Rumnan dan penulis lirik berbakat, Ajim Maze merupakan taruhan pertama buat Sofiaa sebagai penyanyi.
“Umum yang semua ketahui, tagline Skuad Jerung Merah yang merupakan sebahagian daripada gimik pemasaran perniagaan saya di media sosial sangat sinonim dengan saya, sehinggalah video-video tersebut menjadi viral di TikTok dan disebut-sebut masyarakat Malaysia.
“Dan tak disangka-sangka, rupa-rupanya pihak Rocketfuel berkenan menjadikan saya sebagai artis rakaman dan saya terima pelawaan tersebut dengan hati yang terbuka kerana inilah peluang keemasan yang saya nanti-nantikan selama ini,” tambahnya lagi.
Akulah Jerung Merah merupakan sebuah lagu bergenre pop rancak Kemelayuan yang santai dengan ritma yang catchy bagi menambat hati para pendengar. Manakala bait-bait korusnya senang diingati dan pasti menjadi siulan anak-anak remaja dengan jalan ceritanya yang menghiburkan.
“Jalan cerita lagu ni simple je, ia mengenai Mummy Jerung iaitu saya sendiri yang melalui proses percintaan bersama seorang pemuda dengan pengakhiran yang bahagia, kiranya sehingga ke jinjang pelamin.
“Saya juga amat teruja dan terkejut di mana proses rakaman lagu serta pembikinan video muzik (MV) dapat disiapkan dalam beberapa hari saja oleh pihak Rocketfuel yang sangat profesional. Memang best-lah bekerja dengan team Rocketfuel!,” ungkapnya selamba.
Jerung Merah merupakan signifikasi yang ingin Sofiaa tonjolkan selain menjadi sebahagian daripada teknik pemasaran yang dijalankannya. Beliau juga ingin dikenali sebagai ‘Mummy Jerung’ dan ingin mengumpul lebih ramai lagi ‘anak-anak’ Jerung melalui Skuad Jerung Merah yang ditubuhkannya beberapa tahun yang lalu.
“Ramai yang nak tau, kenapa Jerung Merah? Jawapannya mudah, sebab jerung kan suka ngappp! Dan Jerung Merah ialah Sofia Marieylla sendiri,” katanya mudah.
Menurut Encik Jipie, selaku Ketua Label & Penerbitan Rocketfuel Entertainment dan ISS, “Saya nampak potensi yang ada pada Sofiaa sebagai penyanyi, beliau mempunyai suara yang bagus yang boleh diketengahkan ke arena mainstream, selain mempunyai pengikut yang ramai di media sosial ditambah pula dengan konten-kontenya yang viral.
