KUALA LUMPUR, 28 OKTOBER 2021 – Penerbit dan pengarah, Michael Ang bertegas agar pelakon dan kru produksi yang bekerja dengan beliau haruslah bebas dari gejala dadah. Beliau juga bersetuju sekiranya dapat dilakukan ujian air kencing ke atas pelakon dan kru produksi sebelum dibenarkan masuk ke set penggambaran.

“Sebenarnya tentang penyalahgunaan dadah ini adalah satu perkara yang sangat saya pantang. Saya juga tak nak ambil tahu apa yang mereka buat di luar, janji apabila mereka datang ke set penggambaran saya, jangan buat benda itu semua (ambil dadah).” Katanya.

Michael mengatakan bahawa beliau tidak boleh mengawal hal peribadi seseorang. Itu adalah hak kehidupan mereka tetapi mereka perlulah menghormati orang lain apabila berada di set penggambaran.

“Sebab kena faham, kalau kau seorang yang kena tangkap tetap terkait dengan periuk nasi orang lain. Ditambah, masyarakat luar akan kaitkan dengan satu produksi termasuk orang tak bersalah pun dilabel ‘ambil dadah’ juga. Jadi, saya memang setuju kalau ujian air kencing dibuat,” ujarnya lagi.

Michael berkata tidak hanya membabitkan penyalahgunan dadah yang perlu diambil kira, namun dia juga tegas dengan perihal pengambilan vaksin Covid-19 pada semua pelakon dan pekerja di dalam produksinya. 

Kini, produksi Michael sibuk menyiapkan penggambaran drama Sihir yang mempunyai 20 episod dan akan mula disiarkan di Astro Ria pada 1 November ini, jam 11 malam.

Sihir menceritakan perihal adik beradik yang mempunyai deria keenam dan cuba menyelesaikan kes-kes berkaitan dengan sihir yang mengganggu orang di sekeliling mereka.

Hun Haqeem dan Kamal Adli memegang watak utama dalam drama sihir

Drama yang menampilkan Kamal Adli sebagai Nuh dan Hun Haqeem sebagai Hud mengisahkan pasangan kembar yang mempunyai deria ke-6 dan masing-masing dengan kelebihannya yang tersendiri. Mereka sering mendapat alamat dari mimpi atau dengan melihat bayangan sebagai petunjuk kepada sesuatu perkara. Mereka dibelenggu persoalan untuk menjejaki asal-usul mereka dan sepanjang perjalanan itu Nuh & Hud dipertemukan dengan insan yang merana kerana sihir dan orang-orang yang mengamalkan ilmu sihir. Setiap kali mereka membantu, mereka sering merasakan semakin dekat dengan jawapan yang mereka cari. Satu persatu petunjuk dirungkai yang akhirnya membawa Nuh dan Hud untuk mengenali siapa diri mereka yang sebenarnya.

Selain Kamal dan Hun Haqeem, Sihir membariskan pelakon-pelakon seperti Zarul Umbrella, Sharifah Shahora, Farah Ahmad, Zaryn Myn dan ramai lagi.
