Dalam sibuk menguruskan hal rumah tangga dan keluarga, rupa-rupanya Ziha atau nama sebenarnya Nor Aziha Md Salleh, dalam diam sibuk menyiapkan single keduanya tahun lalu.
Selepas setahun ‘merahsiakan’ rencananya itu, Ziha akhirnya muncul dengan single berkonsepkan pop tradisional berjudul Adat Kasih.
Menurut Ziha, dia memang sengaja merahsiakan kemunculan single terbarunya itu daripada pengetahuan sesiapa kecuali ahli keluarga terdekat sahaja.
Memilih irama pop tradisional sebagai taruhan terbarunya, Ziha berkata pendedahan awal dan latar belakang keluarga yang meminati lagu Irama Tradisional dan Zapin menjadi faktor dia memilih lagu berkonsepkan pop tradisional itu.
“Irama tradisional cukup dekat dengan jiwa kerana saya dilahirkan di Johor Bahru, latar belakang keluarga yang menggemari irama tradisional dan zapin turut menyuntik minat saya terhadap irama tradisional sejak kecil lagi.
“Namun, bagi membolehkan Adat Kasih diterima ramai dan bersesuaian dengan cita rasa pendengar masa kini, saya mengambil langkah menggabungkan elemen pop bersama tradisional.

Menurut Ziha lagi, sebelum Aubrey menghasilkan lagu buatnya, mereka terlebih dulu berjumpa bagi membincangkan mengenai konsep lagu serta rujukan muzik yang bersesuaian.
“Ketika Aubrey memperdengarkan demo Adat Kasih buat pertama kali, saya terus berkenan. Dia tahu apa yang saya mahukan, dan auranya sampai.
“Kami mengambil sedikit masa untuk membuat “arrangement” yang bersesuaian dengan saya. Setelah berpuas hati, barulah proses rakaman dijalankan. Proses rakaman dibuat di Cranky Studios hanya mengambil masa sehari saja,” katanya yang turut mengikuti kelas vokal selama empat minggu sebelum proses rakamam bagi menjaga kualiti suaranya.
Dia juga enggan mengulangi kesilapannya sewaktu tampil dengan single pertama Takkah Ini Cinta kira-kira empat tahun lalu.
Kata Ziha, ketika itu dia terburu-buru ingin memiliki single pertama tanpa mempedulikan sama ada dia sudah bersedia ataupun tidak.
“Waktu itu saya rasakan saya sudah cukup bersedia, sedangkan saya sebenarnya belum cukup bersedia dari segi nyanyian dan publisiti. Dengan keadaan semasa yang tidak menyebelahi saya pada ketika itu, saya keluarkan juga single itu kerana selepas AF (Akademi Fantasia) tamat, saya lebih banyak berlakon sehingga orang lupa yang saya juga sebenarnya penyanyi.
“Jadi kali ini saya tidak mahu terburu-buru lagi. Sebagi persediaan, saya turut mengikuti kelas vokal intensif selama empat minggu bersama Puan Faezah daripada Fakulti Muzik UiTM Shah Alam, banyak teknik nyanyian yang betul saya pelajari bersama beliau,” katanya.
Ditanya tidakkah dia bimbang berdepan persaingan daripada artis BBNU yang lebih dikenali serta memiliki banyak lagu popular dan trending, penyanyi berusia 27 tahun itu berkata, setiap penyanyi mempunyai sasaran mereka yang tersendiri.
Katanya, dia mensasarkan peminat yang memiliki hati dan jiwa pada alunan muzik irama tradisional seperti dirinya.
“Saya tidak takut untuk bersaing kerana setiap penyanyi mempunyai sasaran pendengar yang diinginkan. Sasaran saya adalah kepada mereka yang ada hati dan jiwa pada irama muzik tradisional.
“Tapi bagi membolehkan lagu saya diterima, saya menyuntik irama pop dan tradisional sebagai pengenalan.
