KUALA LUMPUR, 31 JULAI 2021 – Kualiti vokal dua penyanyi terkenal tanah air, Hafiz Suip dan Ernie Zakri tidak perlu dipertikaikan lagi. Kelebihan dimiliki mereka berdua berjaya meletakkan diri mereka di kelas teratas kalangan penyanyi-penyanyi di Malaysia.
Malah, baik Hafiz mahupun Ernie, mereka boleh dikatakan antara penyanyi terbaik negara ketika ini. Hampir semua lagu yang dilancarkan mereka berjaya mendapat tempat di hati pencinta muzik sekali gus meraih pengiktirafan membanggakan.
Hafiz sendiri mempunyai rekod yang cukup cemerlang sepanjang lebih 10 tahun pembabitannya dalam bidang nyanyian iaitu bermula selepas muncul juara program Akademi Fantasia musim ketujuh (AF 7) pada tahun 2009.

Gandingan Hafiz dan Ernie menerusi lagu ciptaan komposer hangat masakini, Ikhwan Fatanna dan Wan Salleh serta lirik oleh Penerbit drama terkenal, Datuk A. Aida itu menjadikan lagu terbitan bersama syarikat Nova Music dan Rocketfuel itu cukup istimewa.
Menariknya, lagu “Berakhirlah Pencarianku” itu adalah kerjasama pertama antara Nova Music dan Rocketfuel Entertainment. Pertemuan membabitkan Pengarah Urusan Nova Music, Rosmin Hashim dan Head of Rocketfuel Entertainment, Feros Sayna membawa kepada kolaborasi yang disifatkan projek ‘terbaik’.

Kolaborasi pemilik dua vokal terbaik industri muzik Malaysia dalam lagu “Berakhirlah Pencarianku” juga diibaratkan oleh kedua penyanyi ini sebagai mimpi menjadi kenyataan.
Hafiz, 31, atau nama sebenarnya Mohd Hafiz Mohd Suip berkata, tidak ada sebab untuk dia menolak tawaran itu.
“Alhamdulillah, bagi saya ini projek yang boleh diibaratkan mimpi menjadi kenyataan kerana dapat juga berduet dengan Ernie. Sebelum ini, saya pernah menyaksikan persembahan duetnya dengan protege saya. Dalam masa sama dia juga seorang guru vokal.
“Saya tahu dia berbakat besar dan pernah menang vokal terbaik. Apabila kami diberi peluang berduet pada ABPBH tahun lalu, saya berasakan ia kerjasama yang cukup menarik. Dari situ kami berborak dan diakui dia seorang yang senang jalin kerjasama termasuk ketika menyanyi bersama. Sama juga dengan pasangan duet saya yang lain sebelum ini. Sejak itu, saya berasa bertuah kerana dapat bekerjasama dengan Ernie. Dengan kelebihan yang dimiliki beliau, siapa yang tak nak berduet dengan dia?” katanya.
Menurut Hafiz, kolaborasi mereka menerusi lagu “Berakhirlah Pencarianku” memberi peluang kepada mereka berdua untuk berkongsi pengalaman yang ada.
“Apa yang saya lalui selama ini menjadi pengalaman. Mungkin itu juga yang membuatkan orang nampak saya di tahap sekarang. Sebenarnya banyak lagi perkara yang saya nak kena belajar. Dari segi teknik nyanyian, banyak lagi yang perlu dipelajari jika mahu dibandingkan dengan Ernie. Macam Ernie dia memang belajar itu. Saya belajar juga, tapi lambat. Jadi, dari segi teknik nyanyian, Ernie masih terbaik bagi saya.
“Kalau dari soal pengalaman, mungkin saya ada sedikit kelebihan sebab saya sudah lebih 10 tahun berkecimpung dalam industri muzik dan pernah menang pelbagai anugerah. Jadi, apa yang saya nak sampaikan di sini ialah masing-masing ada keistimewaan. Saya tak nafikan Ernie ada vokal yang sangat bagus,” katanya.
Sementara itu, Ernie, 29, atau nama sebenarnya Nur Ernie Shahirah Zakri menyifatkan kerjasama menerusi lagu duet “Berakhirlah Pencarianku” dengan Hafiz sesuatu yang cukup bermakna dalam kerjaya seninya.
“Sejujurnya saya banyak berfikir juga di peringkat awal untuk melibatkan diri dalam projek ini sebab saya baru lancar lagu duet dengan Syamel iaitu “Goodbye Hello” yang merupakan lagu perkahwinan kami. Tapi apabila dinasihatkan oleh syarikat pengurusan saya bahawa ini adalah peluang keemasan bagi saya, saya berasa rugi kalau ditolak. Lagi pula, pelaksanaan projek ini adalah demi kebaikan kerjaya saya sendiri.
“Kita perlu tengok juga pada fokus. Kebanyakan orang tak boleh ada dua tiga fokus perkara yang nak dibuat. Jadi kami pun berbincang. Pada kami, tidak akan timbul sebarang isu asal saja semua tahu komitmen kita apa dan untuk apa.
“Ketika mula diberitahu mengenai projek ini, saya terus terbayang wajah Syamel sebab dari dulu lagi kami saling bekerjasama dalam lagu duet. Tapi mungkin disebabkan saya pernah bekerjasama dengan Abang Hafiz pada ABPBH, saya berasakan Abang Hafiz juga rakan duet yang baik buat saya. Sebab kerjasama dan kefahaman kami itu dah ada,” katanya.
Senada dengan Hafiz, Ernie berkata kolaborasi dengan Hafiz juga ibarat mimpi menjadi kenyataan.
