Sama seperti sutradara lain, Ghaz Abu Bakar juga menyimpan impian besar untuk melihat filem terbaru garapannya, Bulan & Pria Terhebat mencatat kejayaan luar biasa apabila ditayangkan di pawagam.
Keyakinannya itu tidak tersasar kerana ketika ditayangkan selama lima hari serentak di pawagam tiga negara iaitu Malaysia, Singapura dan Brunei Darussalam pada 12 Mac tahun lalu, filem yang menampilkan Zahirah MacWilson dan Zizan Razak sebagai teraju utama itu menerima pelbagai reaksi positif.
Namun, kegembiraan yang dikecapinya itu hanya bersifat sementara dan Ghaz terpaksa akur apabila filem terbitan Nizra Entertainment itu terpaksa dihentikan tayangan, susulan pelaksanaan Perintah Kawalan Pergerakan (PKP) pada Mac tahun lalu.
Situasi itu bagaimanapun, tidak sesekali membuatkan Ghaz berputus asa. Besar harapannya untuk melihat filem yang menyajikan elemen segar dalam industri perfileman tempatan apabila mengangkat tema hero wanita terus diberikan perhatian oleh khalayak apabila kembali ditayangkan.
Meskipun impian untuk melihat filem itu kembali diputarkan di pawagam tidak menjadikan kenyataan, Ghaz percaya, keputusan penerbit untuk menayangkannya Di Pawagam Rumah Anda, Astro First bermula 11 Mac ini menyimpan hikmah tersendiri.
“Secara peribadi, saya agak kecewa kerana tidak dapat berkongsi pengalaman mendengar gelak ketawa bersama penonton di pawagam. Namun, saya melihat keputusan menayangkan filem itu di skrin televisyen dari sudut positif.
“Saya percaya filem ini akan dapat ditonton lebih meluas apabila disiarkan menerusi Astro First dan berharap penonton akan mengulang langganan untuk menikmati kepuasan tontonan yang sebenar.
“Saya juga mengharapkan pandangan daripada semua penonton kerana ia memberikan saya semangat untuk terus berkarya dan menghasilkan karya yang lebih bermutu,” katanya.
Ketika negara masih bergelut untuk bangkit daripada ancaman pandemik Covid-19, Ghaz akur, pengkarya turut berdepan situasi mencabar, terutama berkaitan garis panduan atau SOP di pawagam yang membataskan jumlah penonton dan ia secara tidak langsung memberi kesan dari sudut kutipan tayangan.
Menyambut baik kehadiran platform penstriman digital dan OTT seperti Astro First yang disifatkannya sangat membantu pengkarya dalam mengharungi cabaran pandemik, Ghaz turut melihat ia sebagai pemacu semangat untuk mereka terus mengetengahkan karya kepada khalayak.
“Cuma, perkara yang paling merisaukan pengkarya dari sudut isu cetak rompak kerana ia lebih mudah berlaku menerusi platform penstriman digital. Saya berharap pihak pengedar akan memantau secara serius perkara ini.
“Dari satu sudut lain, saya yakin filem ini akan dapat menemui penonton secara lebih menyeluruh apabila ditayangkan menerusi Astro First,” katanya.
Menyentuh kenangan sepanjang menyiapkan Bulan & Pria Terhebat, Ghaz berkata, filem itu memahat makna tersendiri buat dirinya sebagai sutradara, terutama pemilihan lokasi penggambaran yang mengimbau memori ketika dia membesar.
“Ia memberikan kenangan yang manis apabila dapat menjalani penggambaran di Johor yang juga tempat saya membesar dan bermain seperti di pantai Stulang Laut, selain jalan di sekitar Pasar Karat.
“Kesempatan mengarahkan nama besar seperti Maya Karin dan Khir Rahman turut memberikan kepuasan yang tersendiri. Kepuasan itu lebih saya rasai apabila melihat Zahirah berjaya merealisasikan watak Bulan dengan baik. Ia pencapaian yang cukup membuatkan saya berpuas hati,” katanya.
Terdahulu, penerbit yang juga Ketua Pegawai Eksekutif Nizra Entertainment, Nik Iruwan Datuk Nik Izani berkata, meskipun berada di pawagam ketika negara dalam situasi pra-pandemik Covid-19, tempoh singkat tayangan menyaksikan filem itu mendapat sambutan positif penonton di ketiga-tiga negara.
“Filem ini sempat ditayangkan selama lima hari di pawagam pada Mac tahun lalu, tetapi terpaksa dihentikan tayangannya berikutan pelaksanaan PKP. Namun, sambutan yang diberikan penonton begitu positif.
“Setelah berbincang dengan rakan penerbit dan mengambil kira faktor semasa, kami memilih untuk menayangkan Bulan & Pria Terhebat di platform Astro First. Kami percaya, dalam keadaan norma baharu sekarang, platform Astro First mampu membawa karya ini terus kepada penonton di luar sana secara menyeluruh.
“Harapan kami, kehadiran filem ini dapat menghiburkan penonton dengan hasil kualiti produksi yang menampilkan keunikan tersendiri,” katanya.
Selain menggandingkan Zahirah dan Zizan, serta kemunculan Maya dan Khir, Bulan & Pria Terhebat turut menampilkan kehebatan lakonan Bell Ngasri, Didie Alias, Rashidi Ishak, Alif Hadi, Mimi Ernida, Aprena Manrose, Marissa Yasmin, Sofia Dendroff, Sein Qudsi, dan Yus Noor.
Menyentuh pembabitannya dalam filem itu, Zahirah yang memegang watak sebagai Bulan berharap, Bulan & Pria Terhebat menjadi penanda aras baharu untuk menyaksikan lebih banyak filem yang mengetengahkan wanita sebagai penggerak utama.

Teruja dan tidak sabar menantikan maklum balas penonton terhadap kemunculan pertamanya itu di layar perak, Zahirah berkata, pandemik Covid-19 turut mempengaruhi industri dalam pelbagai cara.
“Pelakon umpamanya, kini bergantung sepenuhnya kepada media sosial untuk mempromosikan projek kami. Ia memberikan cabaran baharu, terutama cara untuk menjangkau penonton.

Mengakui karakter Bulan membekas kenangan yang cukup indah, Zahirah berkata, dia teruja apabila diberi kepercayaan untuk melakukan sendiri babak aksi yang sangat menguji.
“Saya mempunyai jurulatih yang hebat, malah saya banyak melakukan latihan untuk mematapkan koreografi. Saya tidak punya banyak masa rehat demi memastikan saya melakukan yang terbaik dalam filem ini,” katanya.
Sementara itu, Zizan pula melihat transisi tayangan dari pawagam ke skrin televisyen sebagai norma baharu yang perlu diterima, namun positif penonton dapat menyesuaikan diri dengan pengalaman baharu itu.
“Mungkin pengalamannya tidak sama seperti menonton di pawagam, tetapi ia tetap mempunyai nilai tambah kerana filem ini dapat dinikmati bersama seisi keluarga. Ia mencipta keseronokan yang berbeza, malah penonton berpeluang mewujudkan keriangan yang sama seperti menonton di pawagam.
“Jika ke pawagam, penonton terikat dengan jadual tayangan sedia ada. Tetapi, apabila di rumah, mereka bebas menonton pada bila-bila masa. Bagi saya, ia memberikan pengalaman yang cukup menyeronokkan,” katanya.
Pemegang watak Haris itu tidak menafikan, sebagai pengkarya, dia turut merasai getir yang dilalui penggiat industri perfileman untuk terus berjuang mengharungi pandemik. Namun, kehadiran platform seperti Astro First menjadi wadah kesinambungan hayat industri filem.
“Bagi saya, ia platform yang baik untuk menyelamatkan industri. Memang kami sebagai artis boleh beralih dan mempelbagaikan medium seni lain, tetapi bagaimana dengan mereka yang bekerja di balik tabir?
“Apabila ada platform seperti Astro First, ia memberikan sinar kepada penggiat industri untuk meneruskan kerjaya mereka. Saya berharap filem ini memberi kepuasan kepada mereka yang menonton, malah terhibur dengan jalan cerita dan aksi yang disajikan,” katanya.
Teruja dapat bekerja dengan pengarah berkaliber seperti Ghaz, Zizan berkata, sepanjang dua minggu penggambaran di Johor, dia melalui pengalaman menyeronokkan dan sukar dilupakan.
