MUALLIM, 13 OGOS 2021 – Pendakwah bebas dan personaliti televisyen terkenal Malaysia, Syamsul Amri Ismail atau lebih dikenali sebagai Syamsul Debat menasihati calon guru agar membuat persediaan rapi apabila memohon jawatan guru. Hal ini kerana, beliau tidak mahu jika sudah terpilih sebagai guru kelak namun tidak mampu digalas dengan sebaiknya kerana tugas seorang guru bukanlah mudah demi membentuk generasi pada masa akan datang.

Menerusi Program Tazkirah Rezeki dan Kerjaya: Berguru Demi Ilmu, Bina Generasi Baharu dan Majlis Bacaan Yasin sempena Pengambilan Khas Pegawai Perkhidmatan Pendidikan Gred DG41 secara ‘One-Off’, Syamsul Debat telah berkongsi tips dan pengalaman beliau.

Program yang dilaksanakan secara dalam talian melalui platform Webex ini merupakan salah satu insiatif alumni Anak Kandung Suluh Budiman (AKSB) Multimedia dan Pusat Alumni Universiti Pendidikan Sultan Idris untuk  memberi motivasi dan nasihat kepada mahasiswa dan alumni AKSB yang akan menghadapi temuduga one-off DG41.

Tujuan program ini diadakan adalah untuk berkongsi tips-tips berguna berkaitan temuduga Suruhanjaya Perkhidmatan Pendidikan (SPP) dan turut diadakan majlis bacaan Yassin bagi mempermudahkan urusan calon guru.

Menerusi tazkirah yang disampaikan oleh Syamsul Debat, beliau menekankan beberapa tips bermanfaat kepada pendengar terutama kepada calon-calon guru supaya sentiasa bersedia dan fleksibel agar dapat berhadapan dengan sebarang kemungkinan dalam era yang kian mencabar.

Ujarnya lagi, dalam menghadapi arus pemodenan ini, para graduan harus meningkatkan keupayaan dan potensi diri dalam pelbagai bidang malah alumni harus mengasah pelbagai kemahiran terutama dalam penggunaan teknologi semasa, kepimpinan dan komunikasi.

Encik Rasyidi Johan, Timbalan Pengarah Pusat Alumni mengalukan kepakaran alumni untuk disalurkan kepada pembangunan insaniah universiti. Encik Rasyidi dalam ucapannya juga turut menggalakkan lebih ramai mahasiswa dan alumni AKSB untuk bergiat aktif dengan mengikuti program-program bermanfaat khususnya yang dianjurkan oleh pihak Pusat Alumni.

“Terdapat tiga faedah alumni AKSB dimana mereka diberi insentif sambung belajar peringkat Sarjana dan Doktor Falsafah (PhD), insentif pembelian buku terbitan UPSI dan insentif sewaan ruang serta kemudahan universiti”, ujar beliau.

“Saya bagi pihak Pusat Alumni merakamkan jutaan terima kasih kepada Dato’ Seri Ahmad Burak, Ahli Lembaga Pengarah Universiti (Wakil Alumni), pensyarah-pensyarah, jawatankuasa penganjur dan peserta yang terlibat seramai 189 orang”, tambah beliau sebelum mengakhiri ucapan penutup.
