KUALA LUMPUR, 28 JULAI 2021 – Polis mengenakan tindakan kompaun ke atas seorang lelaki yang videonya tular di media sosial meninggikan suara kepada seorang lelaki warga emas tanpa memakai pelitup muka di sebuah pusat transit gelandangan di sini, hari ini.

Ketua Polis Daerah Dang Wangi, Asisten Komisioner Mohamad Zainal Abdullah, berkata lelaki terbabit dipanggil ke Ibu Pejabat Polis Daerah (IPD) Dang Wangi, kira-kira jam 5.20 petang tadi untuk dirakam keterangan.

“Polis mengesan satu rakaman video berdurasi 49 saat di media sosial menunjukkan seorang individu tidak memakai pelitup muka memarahi warga emas di Pusat Transit Gelandangan Kuala Lumpur, Jalan Pahang.

“Hasil siasatan mendapati kejadian itu berlaku kira-kira 11.30 pagi, semalam ketika individu terbabit menyampaikan ceramah motivasi bertajuk ‘Ubah Hidup’ kepada 20 gelandangan di pusat transit gelandangan terbabit,” katanya dalam kenyataan, hari ini.

Mohamad Zainal berkata, kompaun sebanyak RM1,500 dikeluarkan terhadap lelaki berusia 34 tahun itu atas kesalahan tidak memakai pelitup muka mengikut Peraturan 17(1) Peraturan-Peraturan Pencegahan dan Pengawalan Penyakit Berjangkit (Langkah-Langkah Di Dalam Kawasan Tempatan Jangkitan) (Pelan Pemulihan Negara) 2021.

Sementara itu, di media sosial rata-rata netizen kecewa dengan sikap lelaki terbabit dan mengecam perlakuannya yang dianggap biadap, sekali gus menjatuhkan air muka warga emas berusia 64 tahun itu.

Rakaman video yang tular itu menunjukkan lelaki itu sedang mempersoalkan warga emas berkenaan adakah dia menyesal kerana tidak berusaha dan malas sewaktu muda sehingga menjadi gelandangan.

Netizen turut melemparkan kecaman apabila dia dilihat tidak memakai pelitup muka ketika menyampaikan ceramah.
