KUALA LUMPUR, 15 DISEMBER – Pertubuhan Ikatan Usahawan Kecil & Sederhana Malaysia ( IKHLAS ) kesal dengan sesetengah pengurusan pusat beli-belah di seluruh Malaysia yang menindas penyewa-penyewa premis yang berniaga ekoran tindakan mereka tanpa ada budi bicara dalam menuntut sewa premis sebanyak seratus peratus walaupun ketiadaan pengunjung yang datang akibat pandemik Covid-19.
Berikutan dari permasaalahan tersebut, IKHLAS telah merima aduan yang melibatkan penyewa premis dari 150 pusat beli-belah di seluruh Malaysia.
Menurut Presiden IKHLAS Malaysia, Mohd. Ridzuan Abdullah, “kebanyakan penyewa premis ini telah menjalankan perniagaan mereka selama berbelas dan puluhan tahun, tetapi disebabkan perkara ini, para penyewa premis mengalami situasi yang tertekan. Dalam pembentangan belanjawan baru-baru ini, Perdana Menteri dan Kementerian Kewangan telah pun mengumumkan dimana penyewa premis perlu diberi diskaun atau rebat sekurangnya – sekurangnya 30 peratus, tetapi apa yang berlaku pihak pengurusan pusat beli-belah masih tidak mahu menurunkan kadar sewa tersebut,” ujar beliau.
Beliau juga amat kesal kerana ada sesetengah pihak pengurusan pusat beli-belah yang menolak untuk berunding dengan penyewa malah ada yang menyita premis yang disewa oleh peniaga malah mereka juga akan mengambil tindakan undang-undang terhadap para peniaga yang gagal melunaskan bayaran sewa.
Dalam sidang media yang telah diadakan di ibu pejabat IKHLAS Malaysia semalam, beliau memuji Perdana Menteri dalam pengumuman pembentangan belanjawan yang cukup prihatin kepada rakyat tetapi dari segi pelaksanaan beliau meminta Perdana Menteri untuk mengambil perhatian terhadap isu ini.
“kita ada menerima aduan dari penyewa-penyewa premis ini, tetapi apabila diajukan kepada pihak kementerian yang bertanggungjawab, tetapi tiada tindakan dan seolah melepaskan tangan dan disebabkan itu, IKHLAS akan menyerahkan memorandum dalam masa terdekat ini berkenaan isu kepada Perdana Menteri untuk tindakan selanjutnya.
Peniaga-peniaga ataupun IKS ini adalah penyumbang cukai terbesar kepada kerajaan, kebajikan mereka ini juga perlu dijaga dan sekiranya mana-mana pusat beli-belah yang mengambil tindakan terhadap penyewa premis ini, IKHLAS akan mendesak kerajaan untuk menarik balik lesen daripada pusat beli-belah ini sekiranya mereka tidak mahu menyelesaikan masaalah berkaitan dengan peniaga-peniaga yang menyewa premis mereka,” katanya lagi.
“IKHLAS yakin sebanyak 300,000 penyewa yang melibatkan pusat beli-belah seluruh malaysia, memohon jasa baik Perdana Menteri untuk membantu penyewa premis yang terkesan dimana pihak pusat beli-belah juga mendapat bantuan dari kerajaan, oleh yang demikian kerajaan berhak untuk campur tangan dalam hal ini,” jelas Mohd. Ridzuan kepada media.
