Single terbaru yang bertajuk Jam! ini merupakan karya ketiga gabungan Art Fazil dan Imuda. Menarikya untuk kali ini mereka disertai oleh Baba Andy (Andy Flop Poppy) sebagai vokalis dan pemain bass. Para pendengar kali ini dibawa kembali ke sudut muzik blues gaya ‘old school’- lama.
Gitar akustik dan elektrik petikan Addy Cradle memainkan irama Blues yang disambut oleh tiupan harmonika Imuda. Irama bass lagu ini pula dimainkan oleh Baba Andy dan hentakan dram oleh Bani Hidir. Tajuk lagu ini sememangnya sudah jelas memberi gambaran tentang senikata lagu ini. Sesuai dengan konsep muzik Blues lagu ini menyuarakan keluhan tentang kesesakan jalan raya yang sering menghantui penduduk kota secara santai dan berseloroh.
Menurut Art Fazil, idea untuk merakam lagu ini sudah lama berputik dan direncanakan, sejurus selepas keluarnya ‘Rilek Brader’ dan ‘Orang Baik Baik’ pada tahun 2013 dan 2015. Meskipun rakaman lagu ini sudah siap dari lewat tahun 2019, oleh kerana keadaan Art dan Imuda yang sama-sama sibuk dengan kerjaya masing-masing, maka pelancaran single Jam! ini ditangguhkan sehingga kini. Dengan rentaknya yang bersahaja serta melodi dan senikata yang ‘catchy’-mudah diikuti, ia diharap akan menghiburkan serta memikat hati peminat muzik.
“Lagu ini terilham dari pengamatan saya tentang keadaan hidup di kota metropolitan Kuala Lumpur. Idea lagu ini juga saya ambil dari perbualan harian teman-teman warga kota KL yang sering mengeluh tentang keadaan trafik terutama di waktu pagi dan menjelang malam. Seperti mereka yang harus memandu ke tempat kerja dan tersangkut di lebuhraya kerana padat dengan kenderaan, yang harus hantar anak pergi sekolah, dan juga di waktu waktu cuti umum di kala musim perayaan,” ujar Art Fazil tentang awal penghasilan lagu ini.
Faktor persahabatan dan senang bekerjasama membuatkan Art memilih dua temannya untuk bekerjasama. Persahabatan panjang akhirnya menyatukan mereka dalam sebuah single yang diharapkan dapat memenuhi citarasa pendengar.
“Saya memilih mereka berdua kerana mereka adalah dua artis yang ada “cool factor” dan “street cred”. Imuda terkenal dengan identiti sebagai seorang pelukis,pemain muzik Blues dan pelawak. Andy pula memang masyhur dengan band indie Flop Poppy dan dia adalah seorang pemuzik multi-instrumentalist. Bass dalam lagu ini dimainkan oleh Andy dan harmonika oleh Imuda. Dan selain dari faktor itu, mereka juga adalah teman baik saya. Imuda dengan saya mula akrab apabila kami merakam lagu Rilek Brader pada tahun 2013. Kami amat terperanjat apabila lagu itu mendapat lebih dari 1 juta views di Youtube pada waktu yang singkat. Andy pula saya pernah bersama dengannya di London pada tahun 2004 ketika saya menetap di London dan Andy datang bersama krew untuk membuat dokumentari. Beberapa tahun sebelum ini, saya mula bekerjasama dalam projek Caravan of Praise bersama Andy dan kami sering membuat persembahan lagu-lagu berunsur selawat. Saya juga merakam sebuah lagu selawat berjudul “Kerana Mu (Ya Nabi Salam Alaika)” bersama Caravan of Praise pada tahun 2018, “ tambah Art Fazil.
Manakala Baba Andy yang merupakan vokalis Flop Poppy pula menyatakan dia tertarik dengan lagu Blues dan Rock & Roll namun yang paling penting ialah kerana kerjasama bersama Art Fazil dan Imuda. Kedua sahabat itu dianggap sebagai lagenda buat dirinya. Baba Andy juga menganggap lagu ini membuatkan dirinya keluar dari zon selesa.
Buat imuda pula, lagu JAM! Ini memenuhi dan kena dengan citarasa blues-nya. Sudah beberapa kali bekerjasama, Imuda menganggap kolaborasi ini relaks sahaja tanpa masalah.
Video muzik lagu ini menonjolkan Art Fazil, Baba Andy dan Imuda mempersembahkan lagu Jam! secara santai di belakang sebuah pacuan empat roda yang mengelilingi Kuala Lumpur dalam ketika waktu kesesakan lalu lintas. Penggambaran babak persembahan di belakang kenderaan ini ternyata mendapat sambutan para pengguna jalan raya yang lain dengan adanya ramai orang memberi isyarat tangan, melambai dan merakamkan foto dan video. Video Muzik ini boleh ditonton di YouTube Moro Records.
Imuda dan Andy kedua-duanya berkongsi pengalaman sewaktu penggambaran muzik video dilakukan.
“Masa penggambaran muzik video Jam! memang betul-betul ada ‘jam’. Satu hari suntuk kita menyanyi dan merasai lagu Jam! dalam kesesakan bersama-sama. Dengan selambanya kita duduk di belakang kereta tu keliling satu bandaraya Kuala Lumpur. Seronok orang tengok kita, ada yang ekori kita lagi, semua orang tengok tapi kita buat muka tebal,” Imuda berkongsi cerita.
“Seronok sangat masa penggambaran video, naik trak pick up seharian keliling KL mencari suasana kesesakan. Tak pernah-pernah mencari jam, tapi hari tu kita cari jam. Bila berhenti dalam kesesakan, siap ada orang buat permintaan lagu lagi. Tiada sesaat pun yang kita rasa tertekan dalam pembikinan lagu ini, dari rakaman lagu sehinggalah ke penggambaran muzik video,” tambah Andy menggambarkan suasana penggambaran muzik video yang boleh ditonton di Youtube Moro Records.
Apabila ditanya tentang harapan terhadap lagu ini, mereka bertiga menyuarakan harapan masing-masing.
Imuda mengharapkanlagu ini dapat menghiburkan para pendengar semasa dalam kesesakan jalan raya supaya tidak tertekan mengalami suasana tersebut. Manakala Andy pula menyatakan harapnnya agar industri muzik akan kembali pulih dan lagu Jam! yang santai ini akan berkumandang di mana-mana.
