KUALA LUMPUR – The Kuala Lumpur Warehouse Project (KLWH) 2.0 was officially announced at a press conference held at Mega Star Arena in Sungei Wang Plaza, Kuala Lumpur, 20 July ago. The complete line up was also revealed to the members of the media during the hour long session which was also attended by the local acts, collaborators and key sponsors.
The second edition of the highly successful electronic dance music festival is organised once again by Leo Global Link Sdn Bhd and will be staged at the the highly-in-demand Mega Star Arena, on Saturday 26thAugust 2023, and is expected to be a bigger and much more exciting one than the highly successful and incident free first edition in January this year.
For the first time ever, KLWP 2.0 is proud to present something even more special for fans of Techno, Big Room Techno, and Hard Techno. The organisers of KLWP have been listening to your feedback and requests, and are confident that this year’s event should exceed your expectations.
KLWP 2.0 will unleash another 5 of the biggest or fastest growing deejay-producers in the world- including headliner Danny Avila, along side other majors that include Maddix, Olly James, Marie Vaunt, and Lister, who is being brought back again by popular demand – in another massive EDM party that is expected to send the message that vibrant and tourism friendly Kuala Lumpur is the next entertainment capital of Southeast Asia.
The local lineup will feature the world-beating and multiple award-winning deejay/producers Chukiess & Whackbhoi, rising stars and international recording artists Vision X, Smash and Nitrozeus.
“We had such ball and a grand success with our inaugural KLWP last January which saw 4,000 EDM fans gather and have a great time with no untoward incidents whatsoever.”
This was revealed by Leo Global Link’s chairman Dato’ Muthalagan Sangaralingam in his welcome address.
“In fact we are extremely proud that even our national news network RTM was on hand to interview all our international acts and stayed on until nearly the end to cover the event, and report that the event was safe and did not produce any social ills (acara tanpa gejala social),” Dato’s Muthalagan shared.
“Thank you also to all our mainstream, digital media and blogger friends who gave us such excellent and positive coverage in January and thank you for covering us once again for KLWP 2.0 this time around. We truly appreciated it,” he commented gratefully.
“The inaugural KLWP 1.0 rebooted EDM in Malaysia after three years of pandemic measures which had kept the industry at standstill and international artistes out of the country,” Dato’ Muthalagan expressed.
“We are now proud to announce that we are producing the second edition of KLWP with the intent of bringing tourists back into the country especially from our Southeast Asian neighbours and making our tourist friendly Kuala Lumpur once again the entertainment capital of the region.”
KLWP aims to attract young urban travelers and music lovers from Singapore, Indonesia, Thailand, and the rest of Southeast Asia, to Kuala Lumpur not only to enjoy great a EDM experience but also to experience the wonders of our exciting city as an inexpensive and vibrant tourist attraction and as a travel destination made just for them, and which will remain close to their hearts.
The spanking new Mega Star Arena where the event is being held is located in the heart of Kuala Lumpur’s entertainment, F&B and shopping district, which is easily accessible by all. It boasts one of the best sound and lighting systems for an indoor venue in the country. EDM fans are simple going to be blown away on the day.

The KLWP Early Bird General Admission (GA) & VIP and Phase 1 General Admission & VIP tickets were so affordable, they were SOLD OUT no sooner than they went on sale.
Phase 2 General Admission (GA) at RM 198 & Phase 2 VIP tickets at RM 258 are currently available but are selling fast. Limited quantities are still available.

Doors to the event will open at 5.00 pm and attendees will need to be at least 18 years old on the date of the event and will be asked for photo ID as proof of age. Anyone below the age of 18 years old on the date of the event will not be allowed into the venue.
Dato’ Muthalagan also stressed that all necessary permits to conduct the event successfully has already been secured including from the police, local councils and Puspal to ensure that KLWP will be run without any hiccups.
“We have a very capable, knowledgeable and experienced team handling all aspects of KLWP. They have been at it for many years and have put together many successful EDM events in the past,” concluded Dato’ Muthalagan.
