KUALA LUMPUR, 18 NOVEMBER 2020 — Belum reda kehangatan lagu Yung Raja “The Dance Song” dengan hampir sejuta tontonan di Youtube kurang sebulan yang lalu, hari ini, single terbaru penyanyi rap Singapura itu kini viral lagi apabila dipersembahkan dalam bentuk tarian tradisional Malaysia pula. Video “The Dance Song (Malaysian Traditional Dance Version)” berdurasi selama tiga minit itu memaparkan persembahan tarian tradisional yang cukup memukau daripada penari-penari pelbagai latar belakang dengan melodi rancak serta up-to-beat lagu ‘The Dance Song’.

Sungguhpun lagu nyanyian “The Dance Song” diadun dengan bait-bait rap Inggeris dan Tamil, penari-penari dalam video ini mempersembahkan gerakan tari yang cukup indah, lincah dan bertenaga tanpa rasa kekok dengan aneka tarian tradisi Malaysia seperti Zapin Melayu, Tarian Kipas Cina dan Bharatha Natyam India.

Tak mustahil rentak muzik trap dengan lantunan rap bersahaja Yung Raja menjadikan kareografi tradisional Malaysia senada, lebih-lebih lagi dipersembahkan artis tari profesional tanahair antaranya Alam Wakaka (Muhammad Haslam Abdul Rahman), Izzazly Fikry Kamri dan Kalaiasan Sivalingam yang mempersembahkan tarian Zapin Melayu.
