KUALA LUMPUR, 14 SEPTEMBER 2021 – Biarpun pernah melancarkan lagu Saranghae yang mengetengahkan muzik dan elemen K-Pop, Jun lalu, penyanyi Meer Nash nekad tampil dengan lagu sama tapi versi ‘demo’. Niat penyanyi yang diberi gelaran Oppa Malay itu turut disokong penuh, Universal Music Malaysia.
Tambahan pula versi berkenaan menjadi percubaan sulung Meer atau nama penuhnya, Muhamad Shahmeer Mohd Nashrul menunjuk skil menulis lagu buat julung kali. Maka karya ciptaan Meer bersama Rafiq Zahri itu telah pun dilancarkan pada 10 September di saluran YouTube dan boleh distrim di platform digital popular.
“Bagi saya lagu ini ada ‘roh’ yang sama, cuma berbeza jiwa. Saya tulis lagu ini pada tanggal 20 Ogos tahun lalu. Hari sama juga saya rakam versi ‘demo’ di Soundfuse Studio. Ia sangat istimewa dan ada nilai sentimental. Liriknya saya tulis bersama Bella Iris.”
“Saya fikir kenapa tidak dilancarkan juga versi ‘demo’ ini. Setidak tidaknya boleh saya kongsi perjalanan dan momen menulis lagu ini dengan peminat. Mana tahu, perkongsian sebegini boleh memberi inspirasi kepada penulis lagu atau artis. Saya masih ‘hijau’ tapi itu tidak bererti kita tidak boleh mencetuskan ilham kepada orang lain. Saya fikir pengalaman itu tetap berharga tak kira bagaimana laluannya,” katanya optimis.
Kata Meer dia enggan ‘mencemari’ versi asal lagu berkenaan, maka tiada rakaman semula dilakukan untuk penambahbaikan.
“Saya selesa mengekalkan ‘aroma’ sentuhan asal. Saya rakam ketika itu hanya bertemankan gitar dan sekali ‘take’. Saya alunkan dengan gaya akustik yang sederhana dan secara ‘live’. Masa itu banyak melodi dan lirik yang belum pasti lagi. Memang nampak macam sedikit ‘huru hara’. Tapi niat saya hanya nak rakam ‘demo’ tanpa meletakkan apa-apa jangkaan pun. Ia ibarat apa yang kita dengar kali pertama, begitulah bunyinya. Ia boleh saya katakan juga lebih jujur, ‘raw’ dan ada sedikit ‘pitchy’. Kalau dengar versi saya lancarkan Jun lalu, semuanya nampak sempurna apabila ditambah baik,” katanya.
Kata Meer yang baru-baru ini turut merakamkan lagu Seribu Tahun dendangan asal Imran Ajmain, Saranghae bukan lagu pertama diciptanya.
“Sebelum itu, saya sudah beberapa kali menulis lagu. Tapi saya masih rasa kekurangan dan belum cukup bagus. Tapi Saranghae bagai menyuntik semangat luar biasa hingga saya berani mengkomersialkannya. Pendek kata, perjalanan melengkapkan karya lagu itu sangat manis dan bermakna,” katanya yang pernah menyertai pertandingan I Can See Your Voice Malaysia tahun lalu.
Kata Meer lagi, Saranghae bukan penamat kepada minat dan kesungguhannya mencipta lagu.
“Ikutkan saya sedang merencana single seterusnya yang masih belum berjudul. Baru 30 peratus siap. Kalau sesuai, mana tahu saya boleh minta Universal Music pertimbangkannya. Setakat ini ada empat lagu termasuk Saranghae yang saya cipta. Selebihnya, saya fikir lebih baik peram saja. Nak ‘jual’ dan ketengahkan pun tak yakin.”
“Tapi saya tidak pernah melihat apa saja perkara sebagai penamat untuk terus berkarya. Selagi mampu berkongsi apa yang tersimpan dalam hati dan diluahkan ke dalam bentuk lagu, pasti akan saya lakukan,” katanya.
