INDONESIA, 12 JULAI 2021 – Di kala dunia berhadapan dengan masalah dan situasi genting, Lipooz, A’Chi, D’Flow, DirtyRazkal, dan DJ GeraMar atau dikenali sebagai MukaRakat akan menjadikan suku ketiga tahun 2021 menarik dan meriah. Kumpulan yang ditubuhkan pada tahun 2017 ini telah menjadi kebanggaan negara Indonesia. Kumpulan yang kini menetap di Bali telah kembali dengan single yang membuktikan cengkaman mereka terhadap dunia hip-hop dan juga menunjukkan kebanggaan mereka terhadap latar belakang dan identiti budaya mereka.
Single ini berjudul “UNDOGEZE”, satu perkataan yang diambil dari dialek daerah Larantuka, Nusa Tenggara Timur, yang lebih kurang bermaksud ‘ke tepi’ atau ‘beralih’. Dalam konteks trek ini, MukaRakat ingin menyampaikan mesej bahawa tiada apa yang dapat menghalang cita-cita mereka. Lipooz dan rakan-rakannya mengambil inspirasi dari arena hip-hop Amerika yang terdahulu. Lagu Ludacris, “Move B***h”, yang dikeluarkan pada tahun 2002, menjadi pengaruh utama MukaRakat untuk lagu terbaru mereka ini.
Dari segi muzik, 2 Live Crew, kumpulan hip-hop dari tahun 80-an yang sinonim dengan genre Miami bass, juga memainkan peranan dalam nada bagi keseluruhan lagu ini.
MukaRakat menjelaskan, “Pada mulanya, lagu ini hanyalah projek santai-santai oleh A’Chi dan D’Flow, dan demo itu kemudian dihantar ke kumpulan WhatsApp kami. Setelah ahli yang lain mendengarnya, kami semua sepakat untuk memasukkan suara kami dalam trek ini dan akhirnya memutuskan untuk melancarkannya sebagai salah satu single MukaRakat.” Jelas mereka mengenai proses di sebalik tabir.
Apa yang menarik lagu ini yang merupakan karya MukaRakat sendiri tanpa ada kolaborasi dengan mana-mana pihak, sebenarnya bukan ciptaan baru.
“Lagu ini betul-betul siap pada akhir tahun 2019, ketika masalah virus Covid-19 mula tersebar di China tapi belum masuk ke Indonesia. Kami bahkan membawakan lagu ini secara langsung ketika kami membuat persembahan di Malaysia pada tahun 2020,” kata mereka.
Malangnya, disebabkan keadaan yang tidak dijangka, lagu ini hanya dapat dilancarkan secara rasmi tahun ini. Tetapi tidak mengapa, kerana trek ini bakal menyuntik semangat dan memberi motivasi tambahan untuk kita semua dalam menghadapi waktu sukar kala ini.
Bukan MukaRakat namanya jika tidak memberi kejutan kepada peminat mereka. Mereka sebenarnya sedang menyiapkan sesuatu untuk peminat setia mereka. Mereka mendedahkan bahawa “UNDOGEZE” sebenarnya adalah pemanas untuk projek mereka seterusnya yang masih dirahsiakan. Projek kolaborasi yang sangat istimewa dan pasti menarik perhatian bukan sahaja peminat MukaRakat khususnya dan peminat hip-hop pada umumnya, tetapi juga peminat muzik di seluruh Indonesia.
Tetapi yang pasti buat masa ini ialah MukaRakat dengan sepenuh hati mempersembahkan sebuah single yang padat dan penuh karakter untuk peminat setia yang mengikuti dan menyokong setiap langkah dan idealisme MukaRakat sejak dari awal penubuhan, sehingga memungkinkan MukaRakat mendominasi arena hip hop malah menjadi antara kumpulan hip hop terkemuka di Indonesia.
