PUTRAJAYA, 14 NOVEMBER 2021 – Skim Keselamatan Sosial Pekerjaan Sendiri (SKSPS) diwujudkan untuk memberi perlindungan kepada individu yang menjalankan pekerjaan sendiri di bawah peruntukan Akta Keselamatan Sosial Pekerjaan Sendiri 2017.

Seramai 112 riders e-hailing terdiri daripada penghantar makanan dan barangan di sekitar Putrajaya menerima insurans perlindungan PERKESO selama satu tahun secara percuma di bawah program SPS Lindung.

Menurut pegawai eksekutif Skim Keselamatan Sosial, PERKESO Putrajaya, Wan Rafidah Omar berkata, “hari ini kita berkongsi mengenai skim bekerja secara sendiri bersama riders dari sektor perkhidmatan pengangkutan barang dan makanan, mereka ini sudah boleh dilindungi dibawah PERKESO dan pada tahun ini kita ada program SPS Lindung di mana caruman untuk riders selama setahun dibiayai sepenuhnya oleh kerajaan.”

Pelan caruman yang dibiayai oleh Kerajaan di bawah SPS Lindung ini adalah Pelan Caruman Kedua iaitu sebanyak RM232.80 untuk tempoh perlindungan setahun.

Wan Rafidah juga menyeru kepada delivery riders untuk datang terus ke mana-mana cawangan PERKESO untuk mendapatkan faedah dari program SPS Lindung ini. Program SPS Lindung yang dibiayai sepenuhnya oleh kerajaan akan berakhir pada 31 Disember tahun ini.

Terdahulu, program sumbangan buat riders e-hailing telah berlangsung di tapak Park & Ride Presint 14, Putrajaya pagi tadi. Program dianjurkan oleh Pertubuhan Kebajikan Muafakat Ekonomi Putrajaya (PKMEP) dan Perikatan Nasional Putrajaya dengan kerjasama PERKESO telah dirasmikan oleh Setiausaha Politik Yang Berhormat Menteri Kanan, Mohd Fahim Mohd Farid mewakili Yang Berhormat Menteri Kanan Pendidikan dan disempurnakan oleh Ketua Bahagian BERSATU Putrajaya, Azam Hashim serta Yang Di Pertua PAS Kawasan Putrajaya, Haji Ahmad Roshidi Wahab.

Selain pemberian insurans perlindungan PERKESO selama satu tahun secara percuma, sumbangan pek bakul makanan dan baucer minyak motor turut diagihkan kepada delivery riders yang hadir.
