Kuala Lumpur, 30 MEI 2021 – Pemain gitar kumpulan Search, Noordin Mohd Taib menyifatkan konflik yang melanda Search ketika ini adalah isu sama yang berulang, namun ia adalah yang paling teruk sejak dia menyertai kumpulan rock nombor satu itu.

Ia diadakan bagi menjawab dakwaan bekas penyanyi Search iaitu Amy, pemain bass, Nasir dan waris pemain dram, Allahyarham Yazit mengenai isu penggunaan nama Search untuk tujuan perniagaan dan komersial tanpa kebenaran.

Noordin menjelaskan, Search memerlukan pengurusan yang bagus, kerana perkara ini telah berlarutan terlalu lama selepas pengurus mereka, Datuk Aziz Bakar meletak jawatan.

Terdahulu, Amy mendakwa meninggalkan Search tahun lalu selepas berlaku perselisihan faham dengan Nasir, tetapi keduanya telah berbaik semula sepertimana yang dijelaskan oleh Amy ketika membuat sidang media melalui Instagram beliau baru-baru ini.

 Dituduh memandai-mandai merancang sesuatu tanpa persetujuan Nasir, Noordin yang rapat dengan HOC berkata, “Saya merancang apa? Cuba jelaskan. Selama ini siapa yang merancang? Saya bukan nak memandai-mandai seperti yang didakwa Nasir. Saya nampak benda yang tak betul, jadi saya cuba betulkan, bukan nak memandai-mandai. Saya buat semua ini sebab nak jaga hak masing-masing.

“Dah 40 tahun baru nak cerita mengenai hak dan harta intelek? Kami dah seperti keluarga, tak perlulah nak bergaduh. Amy cakap macam ni, Nasir cakap begitu, dah bercelaru. Kami sudah seperti keluarga, takkanlah saya nak ambil semua,” katanya.

Noordin juga mendakwa, isteri Amy, Nourish turut melakukan serangan peribadi terhadapnya. “Saya tak kisah kalau dia cerita dengan orang-orang yang mengenali saya, tetapi kenapa perlu cerita dengan orang luar? Kenapa dia sendiri tak cakap dengan saya? Saya nak cakap dengan Amy dan bukannya Nourish. Dia siapa? Kami tak pernah lantik dia sebagai pengurus Search pun, kenapa dia nak memandai?” katanya.

Noordin mengatakan perkara itu memalukannya dan beliau akan berbincang dengan pihak peguam dan mungkin akan mengambil tindakan.
