JAKARTA, INDONESIA, 26 JANUARI 2022 – Penyanyi pendatang baharu Mark Natama kembali dengan karya terbaharunya lewat sebuah single luar biasa yang diberi judul TERLUKA MENGINGINKANMU. Ini menjadi single kedua Mark Natama di bawah label rakaman Universal Music Indonesia.

Sebelumnya, peserta akhir rancangan pencarian bakat Indonesian Idol special season musim kesebelas ini telah mengeluarkan single perdana profesionalnya berjudul ‘Jago Cemburu’ pada November 2021 yang lalu. Di single TERLUKA MENGINGINKANMU ini, Mark Natama juga masih bekerja sama dengan trio pencipta lagu hit Tanah Air, Laleilmanino. 

Namun begitu, lagu ini sangat berbeza dengan ‘Jago Cemburu’ yang mengusung warna muzik pop dengan nuansa R n’ B yang rancak. Lagu TERLUKA MENGINGINKANMU dikemas dengan menyajikan warna muzik pop balada yang perlahan nan romantis, sehingga kekuatan dari kualiti vokal Mark Natama yang merdu menjadi senjata utama di lagu ini.

Lagunya sendiri masih mengambil tema percintaan. Bercerita tentang sebuah perasaan seorang lelaki yang terjebak dalam situasi yang tidak diinginkan, hingga terlihat seolah jahat, namun sebenarnya tidak seperti itu.

“Menariknya dari cerita liriknya jadi terlihat jahat, kerana menduakan. Tetapi point of view-nya dari seorang lelaki yang melakukannya secara tidak sengaja, bukan untuk menyakiti hati pasangannya, justeru di sini menceritakan kedudukan dia yang terluka, dia tidak menyayangi orang yang dia sayangi, dan dia terjebak dalam suatu situasi yang tidak dapat dihindari,” ujar Mark menceritakan tentang single TERLUKA MENGINGINKANMU.

Sementara dari segi suara, seperti yang sudah disebut di awal, susunan yang disajikan memang terkesan sendu dan sedih. Suara piano membuka lagu ini dengan sangat manis, ditambah lagi adanya riff-riff dari bunyian instrumen biola yang makin menambah suasana lagu terkesan pilu di dalamnya. Dan yang pasti, karakter suara Mark yang kuat dengan sebutan yang baik membuat lagu ini makin sedap untuk didengar dan dinikmati.

Sebuah fakta menarik dari single ini adalah ia sebenarnya dirancang menjadi single pertama, namun dengan beberapa pertimbangan akhirnya dijadikan yang kedua, supaya ceritanya jadi seperti bersambung dari single pertama, ‘Jago Cemburu’.

Seperti yang dilakukan di single sebelumnya, untuk lagu TERLUKA MENGINGINKANMU juga dilancarkan dalam bentuk video muzik. Menariknya, video muzik single kali ini juga masih dilakukan oleh pasukan penerbitan yang sama seperti lagu ‘Jago Cemburu’.

“Baik lagu dan video muzik masih dihasilkan oleh orang-orang yang dulu menghasilkan single ‘Jago Cemburu’, jadi sudah sangat memahami proses peralihannya, dan saya juga merasa ada sebuah pendewasaan dalam diri saya sendri, baik dari cara menghasilkan lagu dan videonya juga,” tegas jejaka berasal dari Medan.

Video muzik masih digarap oleh rumah produksi dari 17A dengan Takun Arrosid bertindak sebagai sutradara. Sementara untuk konsepnya, Mark menjelaskan bahwa hampir semua babak dibuat seolah-olah dirinya masih memikirkan seseorang yang dicintainya. 

“Jadi gambarannya sesuai dengan apa yang saya alami dua tahun lalu. Seperti gagal move on kalau boleh saya ungkapkan. Penggambaran juga 25 jam, dan saya mahu videonya terperinci mungkin, supaya ceritanya itu dapat diterjemahkan kepada teman-teman semua,” kata Mark tentang video muziknya.

Melalui single ini, Mark Natama berharap supaya mereka yang pernah merasakan hal serupa boleh mendapatkan titik cerah dari situasi tersebut. 

“Ini memang cerita yang sepertinya agak tabu, tapi ini tentang perasan yang memang tak mampu dikawal, tentang perasaan yang bukan satu pihak saja yang terluka, kedua-duanya terluka, kerana menyangkal perasaannya. Mudah-mudahan dari lagu ini mereka yang melaluinya bisa menemukan penyelesaiannya,” ujar Mark yang juga seorang mahasiswa Institut Teknologi Bandung sejak 2019 lalu.
