KUALA LUMPUR, 5 DISEMBER 2021 – Namanya mungkin masih belum dikenali ramai, namun lantunan qasidah dan selawat yang dibaitkan pasti memberi kesan kepada pendengar untuk terus mengenali si pelantun dengan lebih rapat.

Ketika industri muzik terus dibanjiri dengan pelbagai muka baharu, ia bukan menjadi halangan kepada UMNAA atau nama pemilik sebenar nama Ummi Nabilah ini untuk turut menapak mempertaruhkan bakat suara yang dimiliki.

Memperkenalkan diri sebagai artis wanita pop islamik, penyanyi muda berusia 23 tahun ini mengakui amat meminati lagu berunsur irama Melayu. Namun, beliau percaya bahawa rezeki dan bakatnya adalah dalam genre ini setelah meletakkan sepenuh kepercayaan kepada pengurusan di bawah label Soofi Studio.

Terbaharu, anak muda yang masih menuntut dalam Ijazah Sarjana Muda pengkhususan Komunikasi, Universiti Sains Islam Malaysia (USIM) ini tidak mengecewakan pendengar menerusi cover keduanya yang berjudul Hayyul Hadi. Bahkan anak kelahiran Teluk Panglima Garang, Selangor ini sendiri akui terkejut dengan respons yang diterima.

“Pada saya, pilihan lagu ala-ala qasidah dan selawat yang cuba diketengahkan ini sesuai dengan peredaran masa. Saya melihat semakin ramai oang suka lagu islamik pop begini. Lagu kali ini memang nak ajak orang ramai untuk berselawat dan berzikir, mana tahu pendengar terbuka hati nak dengar lebih banyak lagu saya selepas ini. Harap lagu ini dapat hits daripada Ya Tarim,” ujarnya.

Terdahulu, pada Ogos 2021, UMNAA tampil memperdengarkan qasidah Ya Tarim sebagai lagu pengenalan dirinya. Tidak dijangka, penampilan sulungnya tersebut telah mendapat komen yang amat memberangsangkan dalam kalangan pendengar.

Bayangan Nissa Sabyan?

Figura bernama Nissa Sabyan bukanlah nama yang asing bagi peminat lagu berkonsepkan pop islamik dan religi. Sengaja mengusik UMNAA mengenai kehadirannya yang seakan-akan penyanyi seberang tersebut, beliau ketawa kecil.

“Sebenarnya artis idola saya ialah Nissa Sabyan. Walaupun kita ada dengar cerita kurang baik tentangnya tapi kebaikan lain yang dilakukan tak dapat dilupakan. Pada saya, dia (Nissa) banyak menyumbang lagu ala-ala selawat yang menyebabkan masyarakat atau pendengar sekarang nak dengar selawat.”

“Jika ada yang mengatakan saya seperti dia, itu satu pencapaian untuk saya sebab dia (Nissa) memang idola saya. Tapi biarlah pendengar atau peminat tetap mengenali saya sebagai UMNAA.” Jelasnya lagi.

Semoga kehadiran UMNAA bukan sahaja membawa persaingan dan kepelbagaian muzik yang sihat dalam industri. Sebaliknya menjadi pencetus kebangkitan dan kehadiran lebih ramai lagi penyanyi wanita membawa konsep pop Islamik memandangkan genre ini dilihat agak suram dan ketiadaan muka baharu di Malaysia.
