Bintang baru dari Jakarta Selatan, A. Nayaka telah mendapat kesedaran mengenai pentingnya cinta kepada diri sendiri (self-love) melalui pengalaman dalam perhubungan lalu. “Saya selalu membayangkan lagu seperti ini untuk Nayaka tetapi tidak pernah berpeluang untuk berkongsi idea itu. Selepas mengharungi satu malam yang panjang di studio dengan tidur yang tidak cukup, keesokan harinya ketika kami kembali bekerja, kami tahu apa yang harus dilakukan, dan selebihnya adalah sejarah,” kata SonaOne mengenai pengalamannya semasa menghasilkan “Waktu Tiba.”

Video muzik animasi lagu ini diarahkan oleh Eddie Edzuan dan direka oleh Cwnddien dari 33.3 Studios, di kala krisis wabak Covid-19 melanda dan terdapat kekangan untuk melakukan perjalanan. Naratif yang berulang dalam video muzik ini membangkitkan semangat untuk membebaskan diri dari kesuraman yang Nayaka alami dalam hubungan masa lalunya, meskipun masih dihiasi palet warna yang ceria.

Nayaka ingin memecahkan halangan di Indonesia dalam menghasilkan lagu-lagu berbahasa Indonesia-Inggeris yang berkualiti tinggi. “Saya percaya itu adalah langkah seterusnya dalam evolusi saya sebagai pemuzik. Menulis lagu dwibahasa bukanlah sesuatu yang mudah, tetapi melakukannya sambil menjadikan lagu itu menarik lebih mencabar,” katanya.

Nayaka telah menyahut cabaran ini dengan “Waktu Tiba”, menyampaikan emosi kompleks yang disalurkan di dalam busur, menunggu masa untuk dilepaskan oleh telapak tangan. Perjalanan yang ingin dikongsi adalah “Waktu Tiba” mendorong kematangan diri – Bukan hanya untuk ketika hari esok tiba, tetapi juga untuk hari ini dan sekarang.
