Sebut sahaja nama kumpulan Arrow, pasti ramai meminati lagu Niat Hati Tak Nak Berpisah. Untuk pengetahuan anda, penyanyi kumpulan tersebut iaitu Renggo sudah bertahun-tahun mencari rezeki sebagai penebar roti canai.

Begitulah rutin kehidupan bekas vokalis Kumpulan Arrow, Renggo yang jauh berbeza berbanding 26 tahun lalu demi sesuap rezeki terutama selepas Perintah Kawalan Pergerakan (PKP) bermula Mac lalu.

Sudah lama tak dengar cerita mengenai penyanyi itu, baru-baru ini ramai yang terpesona dengan suara Renggo apabila tular videonya di laman Twitter.

Pemilik nama sebenar, Mohd. Zain Ramli, 51, yang dilahirkan di Perak namun dibesarkan di Kelantan itu berkata, berniaga dan menebar roti canai bukan perkara baharu bagi dirinya kerana sudah dilakukan sejak 10 tahun lalu.

Menurutnya, selain me­nyanyi, dia pernah mengusahakan restoran dan menjalankan pelbagai perniagaan di ibu kota dengan memegang prinsip perniagaan satu sunnah dalam mencari rezeki halal.

“Sebagai anak seni, semangat menyanyi masih berkobar-ko­bar walaupun terpaksa bersaing dengan artis pelapis yang kian bercambah sama ada menerusi program realiti mahupun Instafamous atau pelbagai aplikasi laman sosial.

“Usia saya kian meningkat, itu lazim bagi sebuah kehidupan dan saya tidak boleh berpeluk tubuh kerana sekarang berstatus duda terhangat di pasaran dengan tujuh anak dan empat daripadanya masih dibangku sekolah,” katanya.

Renggo mengakui, 18 lagu hits Arrow seperti Aku Tak Marah, Terimalah Sayang Cintaku Sea­danya, Sendu Di Hatimu Rindu Di Hati Ku dan Di Mana Senyummu masih menjadi siulan peminat dan dia masih gagah untuk mendendangkannya semula.

Dibantu dua anaknya yang berusia 11 dan 13 tahun mengu­rus kedai makan itu, Renggo berkata, sebelum ini dia berniaga roti canai di Selangor, namun disebabkan wabak Co­vid-19, perniagaannya merosot.

“Saya ke Kelantan kerana rakan karib minta saya berniaga di sini. Lagi pun kos hidup di Kelantan lebih murah berban­ding di ibu kota.

“Alhamdulillah, jualan roti canai saya di sini laris sehingga lebih 200 keping sehari, itu pun belum memenuhi permintaan pelanggan.

Renggo berkata, ketika PKPB, ramai pelanggan yang membeli secara bungkus, selebihnya pe­langgan tetap yang turun dari masjid yang berdekatan.
